Pioneer continues to expand its range of receivers and car navigators, two new 2012 navigation systems introduced, the Pioneer AVIC-F40BT & AVIC-F940BT. The Pioneer All in One Multimedia AVIC series getting better with each new model. These 6.1″ inch and 7″ touch screen models come packed with Navigation, Bluetooth, plays all popular audio/video files on your CD/DVDs or USB.

The AVIC-F40BT Pioneer AVIC-F940BT and come equipped with the latest Navteq maps that include information from 44 European countries, its cities, 3D visualization and voice guidance with a choice of 18 languages. The system allows us to add our own points of interest or favorites, and thanks to the driving report function can control the performance of your vehicle during travel.

 

Both the AVIC-F40BT and the AVIC-F940BT incorporate complete wireless connectivity via Bluetooth. With this we can use any compatible handsfree to send or receive calls. You can also stream music from your iPhone and even control the navigator through Advanced App mode from Pioneer. This feature selects those safe driving applications and displayed on the screen. Some of the applications that support the Advanced App mode are INRIX Traffic, iCoyote, DashCommand, MIXTRAX, Streams HiFi, personal radio AUPEO, Livio and ExtraMile.

Both these headunits are also compatible with the Aha Radio platform. This application is available for iPhone and Android devices, and is responsible for selecting content insurance for drivers, organizing it to make it more accessible. Among the services listed in Aha Radio include Internet radio, music on demand, access to social networks and traffic information. All these applications are organized like radio stations, being shown in touch screen of the navigator, so your selection is quick and easy for the driver or passenger.
