Sony Xplod DSX-S100, New Era of Digital Media Recivers
Another innovative addition to Sony’s mobile electronics line is the new DSX-S100 head unit, their first to feature TuneTray™, an internal mechanical compartment for an iPod or other USB device instead of a CD mechanism.
Eliminating the need to have visible wires inside the car, the head unit has a sleek faceplate that flips down and outputs the tune tray, complete with an iPod adapter, for quick connection to iPod or other digital media players. Once connected to a device, the stereo flips back up and maintains standard functions.

Sony DSX-S100 features Sony’s latest audio technologies, including DM+ Advanced, ZAPPIN™ and Quick-BrowZer™. This model is both satellite and HD Radio ready, and features a large, informative two line LCD display.
A sound solution. Save the cup holder for your drink. The DSX-S100 digital media receiver features an integrated Tune Tray to securely store your iPod® or Walkman® MP3 player neatly within the receiver, eliminating loose wires. It even includes a reminder alert, which ensures you don?t leave your device behind. Easily connect, charge and control your digital music player with USB 1-wire, located within the Tune Tray. This innovative feature displays metadata like song title, artist and track number on your front display when your music is playing.
